Scope & Nature of the Assignment
Strategic assessment and advisory role — no operational implementation, no tax optimization, and no finance or accounting execution.
Analysis of pricing mechanisms, including:
- Unit price per kilogram
- Volume bands/tiers
- Capacity fees
- Raw material price fluctuations
- Efficiency drivers
- Other relevant pricing components
Desired Profile
- Strong expertise in pricing mechanisms within contract manufacturing and/or retailers with in-house production.
- Experience in at least one food category; candidates with exposure to multiple food categories and comparative retail experience across Europe are preferred.
- Broad understanding of different pricing models and the industries and situations in which they are applied.
- Strong industry network with the ability to engage retailers and contract manufacturers to gather market insights and benchmark practices.
- Senior-level profile with management experience and involvement in decision-making related to pricing strategies and pricing mechanisms.
