For one of our clients in the Belgian banking sector, we are looking for an experienced Senior Data Product Lead to help shape and grow a strategic Financial Security data domain.

In this role, you will own the vision and roadmap of a key data product supporting Financial Security processes such as KYC, AML and Sanctions. You will work at the intersection of Business, Data and Technology to deliver high-quality, trusted data that enables regulatory compliance and better decision-making.

This is an excellent opportunity for a senior Data Product professional who enjoys building data products with real business impact in a complex enterprise environment.

Your role

As Senior Data Product Lead, you will be responsible for defining and driving the strategy of a business-critical data product.

You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, architects and governance teams to translate business needs into scalable data solutions while ensuring data quality, usability and long-term value.

Your responsibilities

- Define and own the vision, strategy and roadmap of the Financial Security Data Product.
- Prioritise and manage the product backlog in collaboration with business stakeholders.
- Translate business requirements into clear product features and data capabilities.
- Work closely with Data,



IT and Architecture teams to deliver value in an Agile environment.
- Promote high standards for data quality, governance and reusability.
- Facilitate collaboration between Business, Risk, Compliance and Technology teams.
- Drive continuous improvement and user adoption of the data product.

Your profile

We're looking for an experienced Data Product professional with a strong business mindset.

You bring:

- Several years of experience as Data Product Lead, Product Owner or a similar role within data.
- Experience working with enterprise data platforms and data-driven organisations.
- Good understanding of Data Governance, Data Quality and data modelling principles.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
- Solid knowledge of SQL and data concepts.
- Experience within banking or financial services.

Experience with Financial Security topics such as KYC, AML, Sanctions or Financial Crime is highly valued.

Experience with Azure Data Platform, Data Mesh, Master Data Management, Metadata Management or Power BI is considered a plus.

Languages

Professional proficiency in English is required.

Knowledge of Dutch and/or French is a strong advantage.
