Team Leader

Location: Ghent, Belgium

Contract: Initial 6-month contract with possibility of extension

Working Model: On-site role with rotating shifts (morning/afternoon/night) 2/3 shift schedule: either a fixed night shift from 21:15 to 05:15 (Friday 19:35 to 02:45), or rotating early and late shifts on a weekly basis (05:15–13:15 and 13:15–21:15; on Fridays 05:15–12:25 and 12:25–19:35)

Compensation: €18/hour (approximately €2,960/month) + shift premiums and extra-legal benefits according to Belgian JC 111

Key Responsibilities:

- Team Leadership: Lead, coordinate, and motivate a team of operators, assigning tasks based on workload and skills
- Operations Supervision: Oversee daily inspection and rework activities, ensuring strict compliance with quality standards and work instructions
- Quality Assurance: Ensure product quality before release, performing audits and line checks
- Problem Solving: Track defects, support issue resolution, and ensure accurate data reporting
- Safety & Standards: Maintain high workplace standards (5S), safety regulations, and proper part identification (OK/NOK)

Requirements:

- Experience: Background in inspection, production, or industrial environment
- Knowledge: Basic understanding of quality standards and inspection processes
- Skills: Strong communication, teamwork, and the ability to work under pressure and manage priorities
- Languages: Professional working proficiency in English and/or Dutch
- Flexibility: Availability to work rotating shifts
