Brightsmith is supporting a major construction program in Belgium and is seeking experienced Electrical QA Engineers to join the project QA/QC team.
This is a freelance contract opportunity for professionals with a strong background in electrical quality assurance, inspections, and project handover processes within large scale construction environments.
You will be responsible for overseeing the quality of electrical installation works throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with project specifications, inspection requirements, and client standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct electrical quality inspections and site walkdowns.
- Verify installations against approved drawings, specifications, and ITPs.
- Review and manage quality records, test documentation, and certification packages.
- Coordinate inspections with project teams, subcontractors, and client representatives.
- Support internal and external quality audits.
- Monitor compliance with QA/QC procedures and quality management systems.
- Track and close quality observations and non-conformances.
- Assist with system completion, turnover, and client handover activities.
- Produce clear and accurate quality reports.
Requirements
- Electrical Engineering qualification or equivalent trade/technical background.
- Strong experience in Electrical QA/QC roles on large-scale construction projects.
- Experience carrying out quality inspections and walkdown activities.
- Good understanding of Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and quality documentation processes.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred Experience
- Data Center experience.
- Previous experience working in Belgium.
- French and/or Dutch language skills.
