Payment Operations Manager – Safeguarding, Issuing & Acquiring

We're partnering with a leading regulated payments business looking to hire a Payment Operations Manager to strengthen its Finance and Operations team.

This role is adecuado for someone with a strong background in card issuing, acquiring, safeguarding and payment operations within an EMI, fintech or banking environment. You'll play a key role in ensuring client funds are protected, reconciliations are accurate, and payment operations remain compliant and efficient.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage daily safeguarding and reconciliation activities across payment platforms and banking partners.
- Oversee settlements, chargebacks and client money controls.
- Investigate and resolve reconciliation breaks and operational issues.
- Ensure compliance with PSD2 and safeguarding requirements.




- Support audits and continuously improve operational controls and payment processes.
- Collaborate with Finance, Risk, Compliance and Technology teams.

Requirements

- 5+ years' experience in payments, fintech, banking or e-money institutions.
- Strong expertise in card issuing, acquiring and payment operations.
- Experience with safeguarding, reconciliations and settlements.
- Advanced Excel and SQL skills.
- Experience in a regulated PSD2/EMI environment.
- Fluent English.
