No Offer Description Be part of the Smart Systems and Smart Manufacturing Unit, within the Research and Development area, with the following task: * R & D projects execution in Industry 4.0.

Education: * Master / PhD / Postdoctoral in the field of Computer Science or Industrial Engineer highly valued. * Previous experience of at least 4 years in R&D.; * Knowledge of IoT protocols (e.g., OPC UA, MQTT). * Basic knowledge of I4: TAMI4.0, IDS. * Office package: high level of Word, Excel and Power Point. * English: Advanced (C1/C2) level. * Availability to travel. * Driving Licence and own car.

Desirable qualifications and skills: * Knowledge of front-end development (e.g., Angular).



* Knowledge of database (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB, PostgrSQL). * Knowledge of digital platforms/middleware (e.g., BaSyx, Fiware). * PLC programming (Siemens, Beckhoff) and fieldbuses. * Knowledge of robotics and user level operation of AAB and/or KUKA, FANUC robots. * Digital twins based on 3D rendering (e.g., Blender, Unity). * We are looking for involved people, with a high capacity for organisation and teamwork, with communication, negotiation and customer orientation skills, flexible and interesting in facing new professional challenges.
