Job Description

You design and deliver advanced high-voltage power electronics solutions for electrified vehicles, focusing on next-generation HV/LV DC-DC converters. You contribute to strategic EV/HEV programs and work closely with multidisciplinary teams to bring reliable and efficient designs to production.

Responsibilities

- Design and verify HV/LV DC-DC converters, including isolated and non-isolated topologies.
- Select semiconductors, define magnetics, and implement gate-drive and control strategies.




- Develop analog and digital circuits using MCU/DSP architectures and communication interfaces.
- Perform simulations and analyses using tools such as MATLAB/Simulink, PSIM, and PSpice.Apply high-voltage safety and EMC design principles, including isolation and PCB layout best practices.
- Design and validate automotive ECUs and supervisor PCBs for LV system integration.
- Execute hardware testing, bring-up, debugging, and failure analysis in the lab.
- Support functional safety (ISO 26262), cybersecurity (ISO 21434), and contribute to RFQ and technical proposals.

Experience Requirements

Engineering or Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent experience.

6+ years of experience in power electronics hardware design.

Strong expertise in high-voltage DC-DC converter design (400–800V).

Hands-on laboratory experience with test and measurement equipment.

Fluency in Spanish and English and experience working in cross-functional, multicultural teams.
