Responsibilities As an Automation Architect, your mission will be to design, develop and evolve automation solutions that improve the operation of infrastructures, ICT services and ITSM processes in complex environments. To achieve this, you will combine architectural vision, technical expertise and hands-on capabilities to define standards, validate solutions and integrate tools.

Your main responsibilities will include: Maintain and evolve the automation framework technology stack, based on tools such as Ansible, Rundeck, GitLab CI/CD and Orchestrator.

Experience with equivalent platforms such as AWX/AAP will also be valued.

Design end-to-end automation architectures for infrastructure, operations and ICT service processes, ensuring integration with corporate CMDB, ITSM, monitoring platforms, code repositories and orchestration systems.

Evaluate, select and technically justify automation tools, architectures and patterns, overseeing their implementation and evolution to ensure maintainable, scalable, secure, traceable solutions aligned with established standards.

Design, develop,



review and validate automations based on Ansible, Python, Shell or equivalent technologies.

Govern automation and continuous integration pipelines, from code versioning through to orchestrated execution using platforms such as Rundeck, GitLab CI/CD or equivalent solutions.

Establish technical standards for the development, versioning, deployment and operation of automations, including playbook/script structures, inventory models, traceability, security and reusability best practices.

Analyse the evolution of the automation service through metrics and KPIs, driving continuous improvement initiatives and proposing new indicators where they add value.

Prepare technical documentation related to the automation framework, including reference architectures, development guides, operational guides, runbooks, technical standards and support procedures.

Integrate automation solutions into ITSM/ITIL service processes, ensuring value generation in areas such as change management, incident management, service requests, provisioning and recurring operations.

Promote Infrastructure as Code, GitOps, DevOps and DevSecOps practices, positioning automation as a key driver of efficiency, quality and continuous improvement across ICT operations. Additionally, experience in the following areas will be considered a plus: Technical coordination of multidisciplinary teams involved in automation initiatives.

Management and monitoring of automation projects from solution definition through to validation, coordinating priorities, progress and technical risks with suppliers, internal teams and customers.

Presenting results, progress reports, technical proposals and roadmaps to stakeholders at different levels. What are we looking for? A university degree, preferably in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering or Industrial Engineering, along with a minimum of 8 years of experience in the ICT sector performing functions related to automation projects and services in complex technological environments.

Or alternatively: Higher Vocational Education (Advanced Technician Diploma) within the ICT field or equivalent, together with a minimum of 12 years of experience in the ICT sector performing similar functions.



ITIL Foundation certification.

Extensive Experience In

Automation of information systems, infrastructures and operational processes within complex ICT environments.

Use of tools such as Ansible, Rundeck, GitLab CI/CD, Orchestrator, Python, Shell or equivalent technologies.

Defining and applying technical standards, integration models and best practices within automation services.

Working in ITSM/ITIL environments, integrating automations into operational processes, change management, incident management and service requests. We also value... Formal technical certifications related to automation technologies.

Additional training in project management, digital transformation or continuous improvement.

Experience working within public sector environments or large organisations.

An advanced ITIL certification, at least one of the following: ITIL Specialist, ITIL Strategist or ITIL Leader. What do we offer? Permanent contract.
