Role Description The Legal Intern – AI Data Licensing & Governance will support the legal foundation of Arena Pulse - an AI powered platform by helping develop data protection, governance, and licensing frameworks for our AI platform. The intern will research EU and U.S. data protection, AI governance, intellectual property, and digital rights regulations,



and assist in drafting and reviewing key legal documents including Data Processing Agreements, Data Sharing Agreements, Data Licensing Agreements, privacy policies, terms of use, and internal governance guidelines. Working closely with the founding team, the intern will help ensure responsible data use, compliance, and risk management as Arena Pulse builds partnerships and scales its AI capabilities.

This remote internship offers hands-on experience at the intersection of AI, privacy law, data governance, and technology. It is an unpaid university internship position. The internship will be carried out through a convenio de prácticas with the student’s university.

Applicants must be eligible to complete a university internship agreement.

Qualifications Law student or recent law graduate with an interest in technology, AI, privacy, or data governance.

Knowledge of EU data protection law (GDPR); familiarity with U.S. privacy laws is a plus.

Understanding of data licensing, intellectual property, and digital rights.

Strong legal research, writing, and contract drafting skills.

Excellent English communication skills.

Ability to analyze regulations and translate legal requirements into practical business guidance.

Interest in AI, emerging technologies, and responsible data use.

Must be eligible for a university internship agreement (convenio de prácticas) through their academic institution.
