Applications are invited from suitably qualified individuals to fill the following position of:

LOSS CONTROL ANALYST

JOB SUMMARY To critically determine the root cause of all third-party claims, lost and stolen items, employee conflict, subscriber confidentiality breaches, road traffic accidents, damage to plant, larceny and other related loss events. The incumbent will also make appropriate loss control recommendations for the prevention, separation, reduction, duplication, diversification or avoidance of future events. Responsible for the satisfaction of Disclosure Orders served on the company, pursuant to the Interception of Communication Act.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Critically determine the root cause of all third-party claims, lost and stolen items, employee conflict, subscriber confidentiality breaches, road traffic accidents, damage plant, larceny and other related loss events.

- Make appropriate loss control recommendations for the prevention, separation, reduction, duplication, diversification or avoidance of future events.

- Notify the insurance brokers of all loss incidents and or accidents, claims etc., and monitor the status of all claims through settlement or closure. Co-ordinate with all affected departments to ensure that the proper documentation is provided. Lead the settlement of claims.

- Produce extracts and covering statements in satisfaction of Disclosure Orders served on the Company, pursuant the Interception of Communication Act.

Appearance in court proceedings is also required.

- Notify Internal Audit of any fraud-related matters as they are reported and upon completion.

- Coordinate site visits, for risk surveys and/or property evaluations with local and/or international risk surveyors and valuators, with the relevant departments and take the necessary steps ensure that all recommendations are complied with, and documentation submitted where needed.

- Assist the customer complaints units in resolving third party claims which have been reported to the Telecommunications Authority of Trinidad & Tobago (TATT)

- Determine TSTT’s liability based on investigative reports etc., by direct interaction with third parties in cases where property damage has occurred due to TSTT's actions.

- Workplace Safety: Validate that all work is completed in accordance with the Company’s Health, Safety and Environmental regulations.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

QUALIFICATIONS

- Minimum of an associate degree in Security Management OR ASIS PCI (Professional Certified Investigation)

level to competently perform required duties will be considered.

EXPERIENCE & TRAINING

- Minimum of Five (5) years Investigative or loss control experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Any relevant combination of qualifications and experience at an appropriate level to competently perform required duties will be considered.
