MUST HAVE THE RIGHT TO WORK IN SPAIN THESE ARE TWO SEPARATE ROLES Role Description This full-time on-site role is based at Elian's British School of La Nucía in the province of Valencia. The Maths & Physics / Computer Science & Business Teacher will plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the British curriculum, ensuring clear learning objectives and differentiated activities for diverse student needs.

Responsibilities include preparing schemes of work, setting and marking assignments and examinations, tracking student progress, and providing constructive feedback and support. The teacher will collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, contribute to school events and extracurricular activities, and maintain positive communication with parents and guardians. The role also involves participating in staff meetings, ongoing professional development, and promoting a safe, inclusive, and motivating classroom environment.

Qualifications





Strong subject knowledge and teaching skills in Mathematics and Mathematics Education.

Experience with Curriculum Development and effective Lesson Planning.

Excellent Communication skills with students, families, and colleagues.

Ability to teach Physics & Maths or Computer Science and Business studies at secondary level, as required.

Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant subject area (e.g., Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Business) and a recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS or equivalent).

Experience teaching within the British or similar international curriculum, ideally in a school setting.

Commitment to inclusive, student-centered learning and use of digital tools and resources in the classroom.

Strong organizational skills, professional integrity, and ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment.
