Obvio Financial Planning
España
Obvio Financial Planning Ltd. helps individuals and families turn their aspirations into plans that work in real life, not just in optimistic projections.
Our approach is grounded in detailed cashflow modelling and behavioural finance. We use these to understand how people make decisions over time and how their financial plans may perform when circumstances change or markets come under pressure.
Rather than starting with products, we focus on building robust, portable and adaptable financial structures. This includes careful consideration of governance, succession, jurisdictional risk, tax, currency and the cross-border implications of people or businesses moving between countries.
We work with clients who value clarity, calm and resilient planning that quietly delivers when done properly.
Role Description
This is a versátil, part-time remote role for a Business Development Manager. It may be suitable for someone wishing to work alongside their current employment or other professional commitments, subject to there being no regulatory, contractual or commercial conflicts.
The Business Development Manager will identify, qualify and nurture prospective clients who align with Obvio’s planning-led, low-hype philosophy.
Responsibilities will include building and managing a pipeline of suitable opportunities, conducting initial discovery calls and working with our advisers to develop engagement strategies based on clients’ real-world needs.
The role will also involve developing and refining outreach campaigns, building referral relationships with professional partners, and representing Obvio through digital channels,
events and thought leadership.
You will track business development activity and outcomes, provide practical feedback on market trends and prospective client needs, and work closely with the firm’s leadership to improve processes and the overall client journey.
The working pattern can be agreed around the successful candidate’s existing commitments. There is also potential for the role to develop over time as the firm and its business development activity grow.
Qualifications and Experience
Strong business development and relationship-management skills, including lead generation, pipeline management and client qualification.
Clear communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts in accessible, straightforward language.
Strategic and analytical thinking, with the ability to interpret market trends, client behaviour and performance data.
Experience in financial services, wealth management or professional-services business development would be highly beneficial.
Comfortable working independently in a remote environment, with a structured and self-directed approach.
High ethical standards, sound judgement and a genuinely client-first mindset.
An understanding of planning-led financial advice and the difference between developing good client relationships and simply selling products.
Candidates currently working in a related professional role are welcome to apply, provided their existing employment permits outside work and there are no conflicts concerning clients, confidential information or commercial relationships.
Excellent English language proficiency
