Position
We are looking for a Production Planner to join the Planning Department.
YOUR MISSION
Plan and monitor production in the short and medium term, ensuring material availability, optimization of resources and compliance with delivery deadlines. The role will manage deviations and incidents in the production plan, proposing corrective actions, and will contribute to continuous improvement through the optimization of processes, tools and planning indicators.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Production planning
- Prepare and update the production planning of semi-finished and finished products in the short and medium term, taking into account production capacity, material availability and established stock levels.
- Generate and manage manufacturing orders according to defined priorities, available capacity and material availability.
- Monitor compliance with the production plan, identifying deviations and proposing replanning alternatives.
- Keep planning information updated in the ERP system, ensuring the reliability of the data reflecting the reality of production.
- Coordinate with production teams and the departments involved the information needed to guarantee production continuity.
- Manage requests related to planning from the different production areas.
Monitoring of indicators and continuous improvement
- Update and analyze planning indicators, production schedule compliance, stock levels and operational efficiency.
- Identify deviations related to production, materials or capacity that may affect compliance with the plan.
- Monitor incidents and communicate risks to the areas involved.
- Collaborate in the definition and implementation of improvements in planning processes.
- Participate in automation, digitalization and improvement projects for the area’s tools.
Industrial labeling management
- Create, maintain and update label designs used for finished and semi-finished products.
- Manage the database associated with the labeling software, ensuring the correct updating of information.
- Administer the label printing application, collaborating in the implementation of improvements and user training.
- Ensure the availability and correct application of the labels required in production processes.
Incident management and replanning
- Manage incidents related to production delays, lack of materials or changes in demand.
- Assess the impact of deviations on the production plan and service level.
- Propose replanning alternatives to minimize impacts on production.
- Coordinate with the areas involved the actions needed to resolve the incidents detected.
Document management and procedures
- Participate in the preparation, review and update of procedures and work instructions related to planning.
- Collaborate in the implementation and improvement of ERP systems, digital tools and methodologies aimed at optimizing planning processes.
- Contribute to the standardization and continuous improvement of the area’s processes.
Requirements
DESIRED PROFILE:
- Academic background: University degree or Higher-Level Vocational Training in Industrial Engineering, Industrial Organization, Logistics, Business Administration or similar.
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a similar position.
- Skills and attitudes:
- Advanced level of Microsoft Excel, with experience in ERP systems being desirable (SAP, Dynamics or other similar systems).
- Knowledge of production planning, stock management and industrial processes.
- Analytical skills and data orientation.
- Organizational skills, prioritization and ability to meet deadlines.
- Results orientation and achievement of objectives.
- Ability to work in dynamic and multidisciplinary environments.
- Proactive, rigorous person, with attention to detail and critical thinking.
- Responsible and committed.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
