Janssen Spain has an exciting opportunity to join our Financial Department as Senior Finance Analyst, based in Spain. As our Senior Finance analyst, you will be partnering with and supporting members of Spanish leadership and their respective teams in the Johnson & Johnson pharmaceutical business. You will also be responsible for driving finance standardization, optimization, and deployment in the 3-tier Finance model, whilst providing optimized decision support, analytical value creation and resource optimization for a business with a combined turnover of nearly $1200MM. This role reports to the Senior Business Controller for Janssen Spain.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Review

Have an end-to-end financial planning & forecasting responsibility for the respective area
Provide insightful financial analysis and scenario-thinking to drive strategic prioritization and innovative approaches

Compliance

Comply the J&J; WW financial, HCBI, Business Conduct procedures and drive accountability throughout the organization. Ensure compliance with local regulations.
Act as our Spanish Subject matter expert in term of compliance area. Compliance support in internal audits: coordination with other departments, review of SOP's procedure, SOX controls review, adapting new requirements in contact with Compliance team.

R&D; area:




Actuals and budgeting control activities from the R&D; site center based in Toledo
Preparation and submission of the R&D; reports required by Spanish authorities in pharmaceutical sector together with the business (government affairs, GCO, R&D;, Medical department, quality and compliance). Coordination of the visits and presentations done to the Spanish authorities.

Business Partnering

Influence business leadership in financial decision-making
Lead and supervise performance against business plan commitments for the respective area
Bring an external focus and establish connections with internal and external partners that drive business performance
Participate in EMEA and cross-sector initiatives,
Actively champion a deep collaboration between all finance groups

Other

Finance support in the grants provided to GCO and Discovery site team
Master Data management: including the implementation and changes required during SIGNIFI project, currently approving MD for Spain.
Analysis of HPR information related to events with HCPs for closing.
Analysis Concur expenses, dashboard implementation for Janssen Spain
Coordination with Intercompany team: review of the statements, communication of new employees affected, approval of Purchase orders and general support in this area.
Qualifications

Qualifications

Master’s degree in finance/economics/accounting is required.
A minimum of 3 years finance or related business experience is required.
Skilled at using advanced Microsoft packages: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook is required
SAP knowledge is preferred
Exceptional financial and analytical skills
Strong English language skills both speaking & written

Experience required

Broad based FP&A; and business partnering experience preferred




Experience of working in a regional/ global organization with complex & interdependent business relationships
Proven track record of high performance and driving improvements across a complex business environment
Familiarity with Johnson & Johnson worldwide procedures, practices and systems preferred
