Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Script Writer role based in Seville.

The Script

Writer will develop and write scripts and screenplays for video, digital, and educational content aligned with the publisher’s editorial line and the CoolBooks brand. Daily tasks include outlining concepts, drafting and revising scripts, collaborating with editors, video production teams, and authors, and adapting written narratives into audiovisual formats. The role involves conducting background research, ensuring clarity, consistency, and narrative coherence, and meeting production deadlines.

The Script





Writer will also contribute creative ideas, participate in story development meetings, and ensure that all scripts reflect the company’s quality and tone.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Scriptwriting and Scripting for narrative, educational, or promotional content.
- Experience writing Screenplays for video, film, or digital storytelling formats.
- Understanding of Video Production processes and the ability to tailor scripts to visual and technical requirements.
- Proficient Writing skills, with excellent command of style, structure, and tone.
- Ability to work collaboratively with editors, producers, and authors, and respond constructively to feedback.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
- Relevant academic background in Film, Media Studies, Literature, Creative Writing, or a related field is an advantage.
- Professional fluency in Spanish; comfort working with English-language materials is a plus.
- Demonstrated creativity, attention to detail, and genuine interest in publishing and audiovisual storytelling.
