We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Backend Engineer to join a high-performing development team.

The adecuado candidate will have a strong foundation in JVM languages (such as Java and Kotlin), apply software engineering principles to real business challenges, contribute to complex technical projects, and proactively identify opportunities to improve existing systems and processes.

Responsabilidades Develop, test, and maintain software applications, services, and related components, ensuring they meet technical and business requirements.

Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional teams to design solutions, troubleshoot issues, and deliver high-quality software.

Continuously develop technical expertise within backend engineering and related technologies.

Understand system architecture, technology integrations, and the processes involved in building scalable solutions.

Apply software design principles, data structures, design patterns, and computer science fundamentals to create clean, maintainable, optimized, and modular code.

Work with database design concepts to address data requirements and improve system performance.

Collaborate with stakeholders to define solutions and support technical decision-making.





Identify opportunities for standardization while understanding when flexibility is required based on business needs.

Contribute to the implementation of end-to-end solutions that integrate technology, processes, and business objectives.

Follow engineering best practices and methodologies.

Provide clear updates regarding progress, challenges, and delivery status.

Requisitos 6-7 years of professional experience in software development within engineering teams of 5+ members, using Agile methodologies and version control practices.

Experience building and maintaining software products in production environments using public or hybrid cloud infrastructure.

Strong proficiency in at least one JVM language (Java or Kotlin), with familiarity with other relevant programming languages.

Experience working with data storage technologies (SQL and/or NoSQL databases).

Experience designing scalable API access patterns and integrations between distributed services.

Understanding of software architecture and technologies within a broader engineering ecosystem.

Experience working with moderately complex systems.

Ability to effectively test, monitor, troubleshoot, and debug applications.

Familiarity with testing frameworks and monitoring tools.

Ability to understand how engineering initiatives align with business objectives.
