Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Java Backend Engineer with strong experience in banking and microservices architectures to join an international banking project in Europe.

The role will focus on developing and modernizing banking applications, including the migration of legacy monolithic systems to microservices.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop Java-based microservices for banking platforms.

Support the migration of monolithic applications to microservices.

Work with international development, architecture, and business teams.

Contribute to the scalability, reliability, and performance of critical banking systems.

Requirements





Minimum 5 years of software development experience.

Strong experience with Java and microservices.

Previous experience in banking or financial services.

Proven experience migrating monolithic applications to microservices.

Professional English level.

Availability to work remotely with European teams.

Desirable Experience

Experience with Loan IQ.

Experience with ION Trading.

Knowledge of lending, trading, capital markets, or other banking platforms.

This is a fully remote opportunity for a long-term project with an international bank in Europe.
