About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and linguistically skilled German Content Review Specialist to join our team in Barcelona. In this role, you will review, evaluate, and moderate user-generated content to ensure it meets community guidelines, legal standards, and platform policies. This position is crucial in maintaining a safe, respectful, and high-quality user environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Monitor and review user-generated content in German, ensuring compliance with platform policies and content guidelines.

- Identify and flag potentially harmful, inappropriate, or sensitive material.

- Maintain a high standard of accuracy and attention to detail when moderating content.

- Make prompt and logical decisions, balancing policy guidelines with cultural context.

- Escalate complex content issues to senior teams when necessary.

- Collaborate with policy, legal, and product teams to improve content standards and moderation workflows.

- Participate in ongoing training sessions to stay updated on internal policies and general regulations.

Requirements:





- Fluent in German (native or near-native level) and proficient in English.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze content in context.

- Excellent judgment and emotional resilience when dealing with sensitive or disturbing content.

- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.

- Good understanding of internet platforms, social media, and online communities.

- Eligible to work in Spain.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Previous experience in content moderation, trust & safety, or online compliance.

- Familiarity with EU content regulations and platform-specific policies.

- Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.

- Background in media, journalism, communication, or law is a plus.
