The mission of the Workshop Manager is to be responsible for organizing, planning, and supervising the workshop dedicated to the manufacturing of machinery and special equipment or robot cells. This role includes setting up and maintaining the workshop infrastructure, including installation of machines, tools, and all necessary resources. The manager will act as a liaison between the engineering department and workshop execution, receiving and ensuring correct implementation of technical documentation. The role also involves supervision of outsourced manufacturing activities and the reception and control of purchased materials, ensuring efficiency and quality in production.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and coordinate the preparation of the workshop (layout, machinery, tools, safety equipment, etc.).

- Receive and analyze technical documentation from the engineering department.

- Estimate assembly times, resource availability

- Set build order and allocate workshop resources

- Oversee outsourced manufacturing activities, ensuring quality, deadlines, and cost compliance.

- Control the reception of materials, components,



and equipment provided by the purchasing department.

- Report missing parts or delivery issues

- Provide feedback on feasibility of technical changes

- Regularly report build progress

- Organize test setups and internal prechecks

- Ensure compliance with quality procedures, occupational health and safety regulations, and environmental standards.

- Flag shortages (e.g. personnel, space, tools)

- Share problems and improvement ideas from the floor

What will you need to succeed in the job?

- Degree in Industrial or related Engineering

- B2 English level.

- +10 years experience.

- Strong market knowledge.

- SAP and CAD viewers knowledge
