We're opening 3 long term volunteering places at Xeración through the European Solidarity Corps. The project runs from October 2026 to August 2027 in Ferrol, on the Atlantic coast of Galicia, in the northwest of Spain. What you'd be doing You'll help us run language workshops, cultural events and the international projects we have going at any given moment. There are three roles to choose from:

Events host: you organise activities and creative workshops for the local community.

Fixer: you lend a hand with our repair café and recycling events, 3D printing and the hostel renovation.

Promo magician: you make the videos, reels and posts that tell people what we do.

And if you turn up with an idea of your own, we'll back you in making it happen.



Plenty of our volunteers end up leaving with a project that didn't exist before they arrived.

What you get Everything is covered: accommodation, food and travel costs, plus a monthly allowance for your own expenses. You'll live in one of our two flats in the centre of Ferrol, seven minutes on foot from the office, sharing with volunteers from all over Europe. You'll also have a mentor, training along the way and a community around you from day one.

Who we're looking for Someone between 18 and 30, resident in the EU, comfortable in English (Spanish is a plus), open minded, creative, up for working as a team and keen to learn. No previous experience needed.
