Position Recruitment for a First Stage Researcher (R1) – Master Positions – with the University of A Coruña.

Research Line: Strategic Research Line of the Vice-Rectorate for Research and Knowledge Transfer (Registration No. 20).

Funding Reference: Agreement for Strengthening Personnel in Knowledge Transfer and Innovation Management.

Project Title: Collaboration Agreement between the Regional Ministry of Culture, Education, Vocational Training and Universities and the Universities of A Coruña, Santiago de Compostela and Vigo for the Strengthening of Knowledge Transfer and Innovation Management Staff and the Consolidation of Research Structures.

Funding Period: Start: 01/01/2023 – End: 31/12/2026.

Responsibilities * Identification, analysis and monitoring of European and international funding opportunities in the fields of research, innovation, knowledge transfer and technological development. * Preparation and submission of European and international project proposals, including the analysis of eligibility and call requirements, the drafting, structuring and review of proposal documentation, and the monitoring of submission deadlines. * Technical, administrative and financial management of international projects and activities, including the processing of project‑related expenses, travel arrangements, associated procurement procedures and contract management, and the monitoring of administrative files. * Promotion and strengthening of collaboration with universities, research centres,



European platforms and other international stakeholders in the field of Research, Development and Innovation (R&D;&I;). * Organisation of and participation in workshops, meetings, study visits, events, Information Days (Info Days) and networking activities aimed at fostering internationalisation and enhancing the centre's international profile. * Maintenance of systems for monitoring funding opportunities, proposals and projects, and preparation of reports to support strategic planning and decision‑making. * Development and implementation of the centre's internationalisation strategy in line with its strategic planning, with particular emphasis on attracting competitive funding, participating in international networks and enhancing the centre's international visibility. * Review and improvement of internal procedures related to the identification of funding opportunities, the preparation and management of proposals and projects, and the optimisation of international research support processes.

Eligibility Requirements Given the highly international nature of the position, which involves regular interaction with European institutions, organisations and stakeholders, as well as the drafting, review and submission of technical documentation in English, applicants must hold an official certificate demonstrating a minimum English language proficiency level of C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

This is a mandatory eligibility requirement.

Failure to provide evidence of this qualification will result in exclusion from the selection process.

All eligibility requirements must be fulfilled by the closing date for the submission of applications.

By the application deadline, and throughout the duration of the employment contract,



applicants must meet and continue to satisfy the requirements established in Article 8 of the Regulations Governing the Recruitment of Research Staff under Chapter 6 (Research Projects, Grants and Knowledge Transfer Agreements).

General Qualifications All degrees, diplomas and certificates must be submitted as clearly legible PDF files.

Professional experience: Applicants must provide an up-to-date Employment History Report (Informe de Vida Laboral) issued by the Spanish Social Security authorities, together with copies of the corresponding employment contracts.

Research projects: Only certificates issued by the competent official authority (e.g. the Vice-Rectorate for Research or another body with legal authority to certify such participation) will be accepted.

Language proficiency: Language skills must be supported by an official certificate (e.g. CEFR, Cambridge English, DELE, Official School of Languages (EOI), or another equivalent qualification recognised by the Selection Committee).

Important: certificates or letters issued personally by lecturers, supervisors or Principal Investigators (PIs) of research projects will not be accepted as proof of merits.

General Required Documentation * Copy of national identity document or passport. * Copy of degree certificate in Spanish or English.

If obtained outside the European Union it must be apostilled or legalised by the Spanish Embassy. * CV in English or Spanish/Galician. * Responsible declaration that the requirements of the call are fulfilled. * Responsible declaration of the veracity of the data stated in the application.
