we encourage you to join our project!Job PurposeThe Project Manager (CAPEX) at AD Ports Group, within the Noatum Ports division, is responsible for leading the end-to-end implementation and execution of capital projects in Spain. This professional ensures that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with the approved business case, driving operational readiness and seamless transition into live operations.Core Responsibilities:Project Implementation & ExecutionLead the full implementation cycle from site preparation to operational go-live.Ensure all technical, operational, regulatory, and commercial workstreams are properly sequenced and executed.Maintain rigorous schedule control, anticipating deviations and activating recovery plans.Ensure smooth transitions between project phases and into operations.Coordination of Consultants & ContractorsSelect, coordinate, and supervise engineering firms, consultants, and contractors.Ensure clear deliverables, quality control, and contractual compliance.Optimize external resources to maximize value and avoid cost overruns.Cross-Functional Leadership & Operational ReadinessMobilize and coordinate internal teams across Engineering, Operations, HSSE,
IT, Finance, Legal, and Procurement.Ensure the organization is fully prepared for each project milestone.Provide structured analysis and decision-support materials to senior leadership.Implement a disciplined change management process.Identify risks early and deploy realistic mitigation strategies.Ensure impacts on cost, schedule, and operations are fully assessed before approving changes.Stakeholder ManagementBuild strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Ensure transparent communication with leadership and corporate functions.Prepare high-quality documentation for governance and decision-making forumsLead internal project team members and support recruitment of additional resources.Foster a collaborative environment and resolve conflicts when needed.At Noatum Ports we guarantee equality and non-discrimination based on sex, race, religion, disability, age and sexual orientation in our selection processes, to obtain a better use of the capabilities of people in all their diversity, avoiding any type of discrimination.Master’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, or related field.Professional certifications such as CSCP or CLTD are highly desirable.Minimum 5 years of experience in Capital Project Management. and 5 years of experience in Stakeholder Management.Proficiency in English (written and spoken). and Proficiency in Spanish is mandatory.In-depth knowledge of ports, maritime, logistics, supply chain management, and transportation best practices.Strong understanding of local laws, regulations, and industry standards related to logistics and transportation.Excellent leadership and people management skills.Strong business and financial acumen with a strategic mindset and the ability to drive results.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in MS Office and logistics management software.
