What You'll DoWe are looking for a Lead Frontend Engineer to reinforce our existing team. You will participate in building new exciting features and help maintain part of our existing product offering by implementing best practices, mentoring, and technical planning.
You'll join one of our Product Teams and contribute to building and maintaining new features that are strategic for Surfe's product roadmap. You'll define the right product and engineering metrics with your colleagues to understand how your work impacts our customers and iterate on your work on a weekly basis.
Responsibilities
Build new user‑facing features with beautiful UI components and great UX.
Gradually own, maintain, and evolve existing parts of our product.
Mentor junior engineers, establish best practices,
and co‑create the technical roadmap and foundation.
Collaborate closely with product, design, and backend to validate company direction and feasibility.
Use reflexivity and propose ways to improve user & developer experience.
Actively take part in consolidating an inclusive culture based on trust, respect, and transparency.
Qualifications
8+ years of professional experience with React + TypeScript.
Good understanding of API development and how it extends to the frontend.
Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Datadog.
Familiarity with modern collaboration tools: Linear App, Notion, Slack, Figma, Google Suite.
High energy mindset, biased toward action (build, ship, show).
Desire to have a real impact – driven to see your work used and loved by our users.
Loves to collaborate with different roles to design, implement, and iterate on product ideas and solutions.
Comfortable navigating uncertainty and high‑energy environments.
Excellent communication with engineers, product managers, and other team members.
Open to continuous, incremental improvements towards top‑quality work.
Bonus
Past experience working on production‑grade Chrome extensions.
Familiarity with Golang.
CI/CD principles, some DevOps knowledge.
Tailwind knowledge.
Worked in a startup or scale‑up company.
Worked in the SalesTech space.
