To support the ongoing growth of our Tech, Policy and Skills practice, we are seeking an experienced Senior Consultant to deliver on our portfolio of dynamic and impactful activities across the EU.
Within Tech, Policy and Skills, we operate in the grey, distilling big broad questions into defined actions and programmes to resolve challenges in areas like digital talent development, barriers to technology adoption or correcting structural imbalances in digital roles. We are guided by strong analytical skills and conviction based on evidence and data. We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Consultant who can combine multilateral delivery, a capacity for developing new expertise and knowledge and a passion for developing new business opportunities within a diverse and international environment.
With at least 5 years of experience in consultancy or equivalent, you will have a successful track record in the management of diverse teams, delivery of studies and provision of guidance within complex, unstructured challenges, particularly in the areas of technology development and skills management.

The role
As a Senior Consultant at BluSpecs, you will be responsible for the following
Manage multiple projects simultaneously to ensure that deliverables are met on time, with efficient delegation amongst team members and partners to keep within budget
Conduct in-depth research and analysis from a variety of primary and secondary sources with developed analytical frameworks to derive specific answers to key research questions
Prepare and deliver high-quality presentations and reports to communicate findings, recommendations, and project updates to clients and internal stakeholders with attractive data visualisations
Design and facilitate workshops, webinars and panels to generate insights and develop actionable strategies
Develop and present compelling proposals that capitalise on our core competencies and assets for success in public procurement tenders
Support the Managing Consultants in the growth of our Tech Policy & Skills practice, levering our membership of key associations and alliances to position BluSpecs as a go-to strategic partner
Requirements and qualifications
Ability to translate complex requirement into achievable tasks that generate value for our clients and stakeholders
Experience in the delivery of high-impact studies in the fields of technology adoption, value chain dynamics, policy development, research, and development roadmaps and/or skills development
Proficient in adapting in person and remote communication style and delivering well-articulated messages to different audiences
Experience in moderation and facilitation of expert workshops and forums, managing inputs from a wide range of stakeholders and generating outputs that crystalise value
Validated project management skills in complex, multi-stakeholder environments, delivering results within the allocated time and resourcing
Excellence in written English (C2), tailoring format and tone to the intended audience and purpose




Understanding of data analytics and the ability to manage colleagues and partners in the definition of methodologies and tools for new proposals and project delivery
A minimum of 5 years of consultancy experience or equivalent, with a track record of end-to-end delivery and coordination
A higher degree from leading universities in a relevant science, engineering or technical discipline or demonstrable equivalent is highly valued but not required
Working proficiency (B2/C1) in Spanish is desirable but not essential
