We are seeking a skilled, proactive, and Spain-resident Data Engineer with 3+ years of experience to join our team and design, build, and optimize the scalable data pipelines and architectures that power our analytics and reporting, with a strong focus on maintaining high-performance data processing systems and integrating enterprise operational systems!
Strong proficiency in Python and SQL to develop and optimize scalable data transformation logic.
Ability to design robust relational and dimensional data models, complete with clear metadata, lineage management, and data quality controls.
Solid experience using Azure services (such as ADLS Gen2 and Azure Data Factory) to build and operate reliable workflows.
Mastery of Databricks technologies including PySpark, Delta Lake, and SQL Warehouses to develop high-performance data processing solutions.
Familiarity with DevOps practices using Git and Azure DevOps, alongside Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts, to ensure consistent and repeatable deployments.




Role and Responsabilities Build and automate scalable ELT/ETL pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Databricks ( PySpark, Delta Lake ).
Ingest and transform data from SAP S/4HANA and other operational sources to create reliable, well-structured datasets for analytics and reporting.
Implement robust monitoring, testing, and reliability practices to ensure high-quality, trustworthy data pipelines.
Preferred Qualifications Hands-on experience integrating SAP S/4HANA data sources, such as CDS Views and OData/APIs.
Solid understanding of supply chain processes, including planning, logistics, and production.
Familiarity with SAP IBP data structures and planning processes.
Proficiency with business intelligence tools, specifically Power BI, for delivering actionable insights.
Knowledge of enterprise data security and compliance requirements, including GDPR, secure data sharing, and auditing.
Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across general, cross-functional teams and cultures (Professional English proficiency required).
A product-oriented mindset focused on simplification, standardization, automation, and delivering measurable business value.
A collaborative, proactive working style with the confidence to operate successfully in agile delivery environments.
