A construction company operating in Palma is hiring two 1st Class Road Conservation Workers for the COEX sector. In this role, you will play a key part in keeping the island's road network safe, clean, and fully operational for everyday traffic and emergency situations.

Your main daily duties and responsibilities will cover several key areas of road conservation:

- - Carrying out conservation support tasks, including pothole repairs, substrate restoration, applying primers, and cleaning road platforms.
- - Participating in road operations and emergency responses, managing traffic control signage for road cuts, and attending to road incidents promptly.
- - Operating manual tools and simple motorized machinery such as dumpers, concrete mixers, power drills, and angle grinders tailored for road maintenance work.
- - Performing preventive maintenance duties, such as brush clearing, cleaning roadside ditches, and preserving drainage systems and safety elements along the road.

To qualify for one of these positions, you must fulfill the following requirements:

- - Completion of primary education (primary school certificate).
- - A valid Category B driver's license.




- - Essential requirement: Official completion of the 150-hour Road Conservation and Exploitation (COEX) course.
- - Practical knowledge and confidence in using manual tools and light motorized construction machinery.

What the position offers:

- - A permanent employment contract providing long-term career stability in Palma.
- - Full-time working hours from Monday to Friday, structured between 07:00 and 15:00, allowing for a structured work routine.
- - A competitive gross annual salary of €27,000, distributed across 14 payments throughout the year.
- - Start date scheduled for July 27, 2026.
- - Two open positions available for candidate selection in Palma, Mallorca.
