Job Summary

Leads a team of engineers, managing day‑to‑day activities and project goals. Drives technical excellence, supports team development, and ensures successful execution of engineering tasks.

Position Details

The position is based in the Barcelona office, we have a hybrid work model and excellent adaptable working practices. Applicants must hold valid Right to Work in Spain to apply for this position.

Job Responsibilities

- Build, lead, and support a high‑performing team of engineers.
- Encourage a culture of ownership, experimentation, and learning within the team.
- Provide coaching, mentorship, and feedback to help engineers grow in their roles.
- Ensure that engineering work aligns with technical and business requirements.
- Collaborate with product managers and other teams to drive product development.




- Implement and maintain engineering processes and best practices.
- Drive improvements in engineering effectiveness and quality.

Minimum Qualifications, Education, and Skills

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Significant experience in software engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Excellent managerial and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in team management, process improvement, and effective communication.
- Knowledge of software development life cycle and agile methodologies.
- Experience leading teams developing for Windows, Linux and macOS platforms.
- Familiarity with the team’s technical stack, including: C#, C/C++, Powershell, Angular, Swift.
- Understanding of Cloud, infrastructure, and DevOps environments such as: Azure, SQL Server, GitLan/GitHub, Jenkins and GitLab CI.
- Knowledge of distributed systems, API‑centric architecture, test automation, and secure development practices.
- Experience working with digital certificates is a plus.

Compensation

Salary will be commensurate with experience.
