Warehouse Manager – Madrid area (Metropolitan region), Spain

Position Overview

This role is for a senior logistics leader specializing in heavy‑volume, bulky goods distribution. The candidate will take complete operational, safety, and strategic ownership of a newly built Large Item Distribution Center in the Madrid area, ensuring a flawless launch and optimized space utilization.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead full accountability for the bulky goods fulfillment ecosystem, including specialized racking configuration, heavy machinery inbound/outbound operations, and compliance with the Madrid Logistics Collective Agreement.
- Ensure 100% compliance with heavy machinery regulations and zero critical safety incidents.
- Maintain high inventory accuracy and minimize product damage rates through rigorous handling and quality control protocols.
- Coordinate with 1PL/3PL transportation teams and white‑glove delivery operations to manage heavy‑item distribution pipelines from warehouse to final consumption.
- Oversee greenfield launch activities, including design, staffing, SOP development, and performance benchmarking.




- Cultivate a workplace safety culture that meets Spanish industrial safety regulations and maintains zero critical compliance findings.

Required Experience & Qualifications

- Proven track record of launching or managing a large‑scale, high‑volume distribution center or industrial hub, specifically for bulky goods, furniture, or heavy appliances.
- Experience managing large operations with heavy material handling equipment and a solid understanding of Spanish warehouse safety regulations.
- Professional fluency in English and Spanish; Mandarin language skills are considered an asset.
- Ability to adapt to adaptable shift structures, schedules, and evolving operational deadlines.
