We are looking for a skilled and motivated Legal Counsel to join our team in the telecommunications sector. This position plays a crucial role in supporting the company’s legal and compliance activities at both national and international levels.
Purpose of the Role:
- Provide ongoing legal support to internal departments in their daily operations, offering legal guidance and counseling as needed.
- Assist in resolving potential disputes with third parties, managing claims, and overseeing existing litigation or arbitration procedures.
- Coordinate with external legal advisors, both locally and internationally.
- Support the Board of Directors when required and participate in corporate governance activities.
- Manage risk and compliance matters affecting the company and its stakeholders.
- Contribute to the implementation and development of corporate compliance programs, including anti-bribery, data protection, and export control.
- Review contracts and legal documents to ensure accuracy and mitigate risks, while ensuring business compliance with applicable regulations.
- Oversee legal risks associated with international commercial and engineering projects, supporting negotiation and dispute resolution processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Law (admission to bar or equivalent preferred).
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish.
- Strong knowledge of Spanish civil and commercial law, and familiarity with EU regulations.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a legal or corporate environment.
