Overview

Delivery Manager – Allianz in a Pocket based in Barcelona (or Madrid). As a Delivery Manager you will be accountable for the end‑to‑end program delivery of Allianz’s global mobile app platform, orchestrating distributed build teams across Allianz Technology Thailand (front‑end), Simplesurance in Berlin (integration layer), and the OE Allianz Technology teams. The role reports directly to the Head of CTO of the Global App and involves driving delivery excellence across a complex, multi‑vendor, multi‑geography program.

Responsibilities

- Lead the general build and OE roll‑outs of the Mobile App Program, ensuring successful delivery across multiple regions.
- Build, mentor, and manage a high‑performing team of product owners, developers, designers, and QA specialists—including internal and external providers.
- Manage and coordinate teams in Thailand, Germany and the OE, fostering collaboration and synergy.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to drive the program’s success, aligning with Allianz Technology’s objectives.
- Engage with senior stakeholders, providing regular updates and ensuring their needs are met.
- Utilize strong technical expertise to solve complex problems and optimize program delivery.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement within the program, leveraging industry best practices.

Qualifications

- Proven experience leading large‑scale, complex IT program deliveries in a multi‑vendor, multi‑geography environment.
- Strong program management background with a technical foundation,



able to engage credibly with engineering teams on architecture, integration, and delivery challenges.
- Experience managing distributed teams across different time zones and cultures, with a track record of building high‑performing cross‑functional delivery organizations.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and align senior leaders across business and technology.
- Familiarity with mobile app delivery or digital product programs is a plus, though not a prerequisite.
- Agile and/or hybrid delivery methodology experience; PMP, SAFe, or equivalent certification desirable.
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
