Senior Test Analyst

Join a collaborative technology team and play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of systems and digital solutions that support our members and business operations. Working across a range of projects and initiatives, you will lead testing activities, provide expert testing expertise and help drive the delivery of high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

About The Role

- Partner with business analysts, subject matter experts and developers to refine requirements and acceptance criteria, ensuring they are clear, testable and aligned to business needs.
- Develop, maintain and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases and test scripts that are traceable to business and technical requirements.
- Perform functional, integration, system, regression and user acceptance testing across a variety of applications and platforms.
- Identify, document and manage defects, working closely with stakeholders to investigate issues and support resolution.
- Collaborate with business, technology and vendor teams to ensure quality is embedded throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Participate in Agile delivery ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives.




- Contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of automated testing frameworks where applicable.
- Support the development of test strategies, risk assessments, test data and test environments.
- Provide guidance and mentoring to junior Test Analysts and act as a delegate for the Test Lead when required.
- Support business users during UAT and contribute to post-implementation reviews and continuous improvement activities.

What we're looking for

- Extensive experience in software testing across a range of applications, platforms and delivery environments.
- Strong experience producing high-quality testing artefacts, including Test Plans, Test Cases, Test Scripts, Test Data and Test Execution Evidence.
- Sound understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies and testing best practices.
- Experience using test management and defect tracking tools such as JIRA and XRay.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate issues and identify practical solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.




- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams and manage competing priorities.
- A proactive approach to quality assurance and continuous improvement.

Highly regarded:

- Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, Postman or JUnit.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
- ISTQB Foundation Level certification or equivalent.
- Experience testing APIs, web services and mobile applications.
- Knowledge of programming or scripting languages such as Java, Python or SQL.
- Experience within financial services, superannuation or another regulated industry.
