We are looking for a motivated Research Engineer or Junior Research Engineer to contribute to European research projects and support the development of prototypes, demonstrators and technical results with real-world impact.

Your key responsibilities are:

- Develop software prototypes and proof-of-concept applications for EU-funded research projects.
- Contribute to technical work in Generative AI and cybersecurity.
- Support project deliverables, technical documentation, demonstrations and evaluations.
- Collaborate with international partners from academia, industry and research organizations.

Required skills and experience

- Master’s or Ph.D.in Computer Science, AI or a related field.
- Proven experience with modern deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow).
- Solid programming skills (Python, etc.), knowledge of version control (Git), familiarity with MLOps tools (Docker, CI/CD)and designing systemarchitectures.
- Experience developing software prototypes, demonstrators or research-oriented applications.
- Good written and spoken English, with solid communication and documentation skills.
- Experience with GenAI, such as developing agentic applications .
- Experience in EU-funded or collaborative R&D; projects is highly valued.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity, CTI, GenAI agents, cloud platforms or CI/CD tools would be a plus.
