The Accounting Manager leads a team of accountants and oversees accounting and financial reporting activities within the organization. This position is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial results, managing the month-end close process, reviewing balance sheet reconciliations, supporting audit requirements, maintaining internal controls, and partnering with operations and leadership to drive effective financial management and continuous process improvement.

Responsibilities

- Lead, develop, and supervise a team of accounting professionals, providing coaching, guidance, and performance management.
- Oversee the month end, quarter end, and year end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
- Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial information and reporting.




- Analyze financial results, investigate variances and trends, and partner with leadership to resolve issues and drive informed decision making.
- Maintain effective internal controls and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Partner with operational and corporate leadership to address accounting matters and support organizational objectives.
- Drive process improvements, standardization efforts, and automation initiatives to improve efficiency, scalability, and accuracy.
- Provide technical accounting guidance and mentorship to accounting staff.
- Support acquisitions, system implementations, and other business initiatives as assigned.
- Lead and participate in cross-functional projects, ad hoc analyses, and strategic initiatives to support the organization's continued growth and evolving business needs.
