We are currently seeking a passionate, dynamic and committed IB MYP & DP Language and Literature Teacher (Spanish) to join our team in Málaga for the 2026/2027 academic year. The successful candidate will deliver inspiring and engaging learning experiences in Spanish Language and Literature within the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) and the IB Diploma Programme (DP), contributing to an innovative and internationally-minded school community.

Key responsibilities

- Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality Spanish Language and Literature lessons aligned with the IB framework
- Foster a stimulating, inclusive and student-centred learning environment
- Support students' academic, personal and emotional development
- Contribute to curriculum development and interdisciplinary learning
- Assess student progress and provide meaningful feedback to support achievement
- Participate actively in school life, including extracurricular activities and school events

Requirements

- Native or near-native Spanish proficiency (essential),



as the subject is taught entirely in Spanish
- High level of English
- Relevant degree in Spanish Language and Literature, Hispanic Studies, Philology or a related field
- Experience teaching IB Language and Literature within the MYP and/or DP is highly desirable
- MAES or equivalent teaching qualification preferred
- Knowledge of the Spanish education system is an advantage
