We are looking for a Software Support Engineer to work in an international relevant partner in the automotive sector.
Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Act as a technical reference point for software support on automotive systems (ECUs, power electronics, HV systems).
- Analyze and resolve software and diagnostic incidents on vehicles in development, pre -series or production phases.
- Support diagnostic activities using OBD / Scan Tools, including reading and interpreting DTCs.
- Work closely with software, hardware, validation and quality teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
- Ensure solutions comply with automotive standards and processes (ASPICE, AUTOSAR where applicable).
- Interpret and apply technical documentation (requirements, specifications, diagnostic manuals, test reports).
- Support root cause analysis and definition of corrective and preventive actions.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of support and troubleshooting processes.
Requirements
Mandatory Requirements:
- Automotive, Electrical or Mechanical diploma or similar;
- At least 5 years’ experience working in the automotive sector;
- Experience with OBD + SCANTOOL protocols;
- Basic knowledge of hybrid powertrains and its critical components (engine ECU, power electronics, DCDC converter, HV -Battery, On -board -charger);
- English, spoken and written is mandatory.
Complementary Requirements:
- French is also an advantage;
- Knowledge of ASPICE and AUTOSAR is a plus.
