Experteer Overview

In this role you will support the European commodity strategy and act as the main contact for suppliers and cross-functional teams. You will drive cost savings through negotiation and MCE implementation while supporting products from award stages through mass production and end of life.

You’ll coordinate supplier workshops, maintain purchasing systems, and collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and Quality to enable new programs and sustained supplier performance. This is a hands-on, cross-functional role with a focus on delivering measurable value for Lear and its global teams.

Compensaciones / Incentivos

- Support development and implementation of the commodity strategy and execute daily actions
- Be the single contact for suppliers and cross-functional teams in Europe for commodity activities
- Develop new commodity suppliers and oversee their implementation within Lear




- Achieve savings targets through negotiation and MCE implementation
- Follow up on MCE ideas with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Operations, Quality, etc.)
- Prepare supplier workshops (agenda, contacts, timing, invitations)
- Support the product lifecycle from award through mass production to End of Life
- Leverage new business awards by understanding program content
- Maintain purchasing system: update pricing, MOQs, incoterms, cost studies, and PO issuance

Responsabilidades

- Engineering or Business Administration degree
- Automotive working experience u003e5 years
- Excellent English and Spanish language skills
- Good communication skills in a global organization, self-driven, trustworthy, team player
- Good organizational skills
