We're looking for an engineer who wants to shape the future of AI-powered analytics.

If you're excited about building semantic models, enabling natural language analytics, and making data accessible through LLMs, this role is for you.

What you'll be working on

Designing high-performance analytical models on modern OLAP databases (ClickHouse or similar)

Building AI-powered analytics experiences, including:

- Text-to-SQL
- Conversational BI
- RAG over structured data
- Semantic layers for governed analytics

Creating semantic models from the ground up, defining measures, dimensions, joins, and pre-aggregations that power reliable business insights.

Developing APIs and backend tooling using TypeScript (and collaborating with Ruby on Rails services).

Designing real-time analytical pipelines with streaming technologies such as Kafka and ClickHouse ingestion.

We're looking for someone with





- Strong SQL and experience with ClickHouse or another columnar OLAP database
- Deep understanding of dimensional modeling, star/snowflake schemas, and query optimization
- Experience integrating LLMs into analytics products
- Knowledge of prompt engineering, function/tool calling, semantic modeling, and reducing hallucinations
- TypeScript experience and familiarity with modern backend development
- Ability to translate business questions into scalable data models

Nice to have

- AWS or GCP
- Docker & Kubernetes
- Cube.js, dbt, LookML, Metabase, Superset, or Tableau
- Vector databases and embedding-based retrieval
