Descripción del trabajo Location: Madrid, M, ESAbout the Role As Senior Underwriter Surety based in Madrid, you will be an integral part of our growing European surety team, representing Swiss Re Surety in the local market. You will work closely with the Head Surety Europe to set the local market strategy and tactical guidance, lead the distribution with key clients and brokers, and execute business in line with our strategic ambitions and defined portfolio strategy. As Senior Underwriter on the ground, you will be part of the regional Surety leadership team as well as the first point of contact to the Head Iberia. Underwriting for new and existing clients in a senior portfolio in accordance with internal guidelines while maintaining highest standards of client satisfaction Independently acquire and handle client relationships, originate and process business opportunities with particular focus on client's needs and quality of service Analyse new business opportunities by accurately assessing credit and transactional risks, legal due diligence,

Significant relevant experience in surety, commercial banking and/or credit‑risk related financial services with visible market knowledge and reputation Spanish native speaker with proficiency in English (written and verbal) is essential, additional language skills are a plus Salary and Benefits For Spain, the base salary range for this position is between EUR 72,000 and EUR 120,000 (for a full‑time role). In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for additional rewards and benefits including an attractive performance‑based annual bonus.
