Start your journey with us. We are seeking a Content Design Manager to join our Content Design team in Barcelona, hybrid. The role includes leading a high‑talent community of Content Designers, working closely with Product and other business areas.

Responsibilities

- Develop an overarching content strategy that meets the organisation's objectives, delivers measurable results and embraces an AI‑augmented workflow.
- Lead, inspire and manage a team of 12 Content Designers and 1 Lead Content Designer in the Product organisation.
- Drive the strategic adoption and optimisation of our internal content generation tool AI content agent, ensuring the team leverages it effectively to accelerate delivery and maximise content quality.
- Define human‑in‑the‑loop workflows, establish AI prompt‑engineering best practices and build quality assurance frameworks for AI‑generated content.
- Work closely with different stakeholders to craft content strategies and give clear guidance to the content design team on goals and success metrics.
- Align business goals and priorities with user needs to support the company’s strategic direction.
- Prioritise and collaborate with counterpart colleagues across main eDreams areas within Product and other business areas.
- Champion best‑in‑class content design practices within eDreams, acting as the bridge between Product and human‑centric writing.
- Act as an inspiring leader with strong influencing skills who can quickly build credibility with team members and rapport with stakeholders at all levels.
- Periodically review current workflows to implement better ways of working, particularly identifying new opportunities for AI automation to optimise team performance.
- Manage and mentor team members by creating learn‑and‑grow programmes that upskill them in AI‑era competencies such as prompt engineering and AI curation to ensure continuous growth and business impact.

Qualifications

- 5 years of experience in a similar leadership role dealing with Content Design content and strategy.




- Proven leadership experience scaling and managing large teams of 10 people, including managing other managers or leads.
- Demonstrated experience integrating Generative AI LLMs, custom AI agents into content workflows and leading teams through AI transformation.
- Native English speaker and fluency in other European languages.
- Experience in eCommerce companies applying best‑in‑class retail techniques; travel sector experience is highly valued.
- Experience working with cross‑functional executive‑level stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of prompt engineering, AI governance and maintaining brand tone of voice at scale using AI tools.
- Understanding of content strategy and conversion tactics in an eCommerce environment.
- Process‑oriented independent thinker who proactively identifies areas for improvement and technological integration.
- Team player with a positive, proactive attitude and a great sense of humour.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with Applied AI Tools: Demonstrated comfort using practical AI tools such as Gemini or other AI‑powered assistants.
- Experimentation Mindset: Curiosity and eagerness to explore, experiment with and integrate emerging AI‑driven solutions into workflows.
- AI‑Enhanced Problem Solving: Ability to effectively leverage AI tools to streamline processes and enhance productivity.
- Adaptability and Learning Agility: Enthusiastic about continuously learning and quickly adapting to new AI features and capabilities.
