You lead the planning, integration, and optimization of tooling and equipment solutions within manufacturing. You ensure CAPEX investments, equipment readiness, and engineering execution align with operational goals.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor engineers and technicians in tooling and equipment engineering
- Plan and manage CAPEX investments for tooling and equipment projects
- Oversee procurement and delivery of equipment aligned with specifications and timelines
- Allocate resources and coordinate schedules across multiple engineering projects
- Provide technical guidance on equipment design, selection, and process improvements
- Approve updates to engineering work instructions and technical documentation
- Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for equipment upgrades and maintenance
- Ensure accurate tracking of tooling inventory and support new product introductions
Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
- 4+ years of experience in manufacturing supervision or engineering leadership
- Strong knowledge of tooling, equipment integration, and CAPEX processes
- Experience managing cross‑functional teams and supplier relationships
- Proven ability to solve complex technical and operational challenges
