Zurich Group Audit is a diverse international team of over 275 colleagues from 33 different nationalities. We are now looking for a Senior Auditor in Barcelona/Madrid to deliver high‑quality, insightful audits within Zurich’s Property & Casualty business.
Your Role
As a Senior Auditor, you will lead audit activities across planning, scoping, risk assessment, design, operational assessment, and reporting. You will work closely with audit teams, develop audit approaches, use data analytics, assess IT fundamentals, and support reporting for stakeholders in France, Belgium, Netherlands and Nordic countries.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of audits to exceptional quality, on time and with impact. Leverage Data Analytics and GenAI, assess IT fundamentals throughout the audit process.
- Contribute to drafting impactful issue summaries.
- Build and maintain constructive relationships with stakeholders during audits.
- Take an active role in your development in business technical, new world, and human skills, actively applying a growth and learning mindset.
- Actively enhance your new world skills: Data, IT and GenAI. Recognize their importance in delivering optimal audit outcomes and future‑proofing your skillsets.
- Collaborate throughout audits with all levels to achieve the best possible outcomes on audit.
- Uphold and model the highest standards on ethics and integrity, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards, regulations, and internal policies.
Your Skills and Experience
- Relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree, or professional qualification (chartered accountant, CPA, CIA, CISA or equivalent, MBA or equivalent).
- Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience in Internal Audit, Risk Management or Compliance.
Preferably in the Insurance or Financial Services Industry.
- Experience within complex, fast‑moving and international organizations.
- Good understanding of audit methodology, Internal Audit Standards and internal control frameworks.
- Good project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and consistently deliver high‑quality outcomes on time.
- Passion and enthusiasm to continue to grow yourself.
- Fluent verbal and written English.
Desirable Skills
- Good understanding of P&C; insurance, either retail or general corporate.
- Experience with and good understanding of new world skills (Data analytics, ITGC and GenAI).
- French is also a plus.
