Senior Digital Hardware Engineer - Relocation to Spain

We are looking for a Senior Hardware Engineer to join one of our high‑impact aerospace and defence projects in Madrid, Spain.

If you have experience in advanced electronic design, hardware architecture and complex PCB development, and you are looking for your next professional challenge in an innovative and international environment, we would love to hear from you.

Work‑life balance: Full‑time Monday to Thursday, early Fridays, and reduced working hours throughout the summer.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronic, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in digital hardware design, PCB architecture, FPGA integration, DDR memory interfaces, preferably in aerospace, defence, or high‑reliability sectors.
- Advanced electronic design (processors, DDR memories and high‑speed communications).
- Hardware architecture and board‑level design.
- Requirements management and traceability.
- Hardware development lifecycle and V‑Model methodologies.
- FPGA/Firmware integration environments.
- Electronic design tools such as Altium, Mentor Graphics or Xpedition.
- Requirements management tools such as DOORS.

What will your responsibilities be?





- Define and develop complex electronic hardware architectures.
- Generate board‑level technical specifications.
- Lead hardware design activities throughout the development lifecycle.
- Ensure requirements traceability and compliance.
- Coordinate technical activities related to board development.
- Collaborate with firmware, FPGA and systems engineering teams.
- Support design reviews and project milestones (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR).
- Contribute to verification and validation activities.
