As R&D; mechanical Engineer, you will join the Hitachi Energy Engineering community at our Zaragoza (Spain) location. In this role, you will be part of our multidisciplinary R&D; Team, contributing to the development and optimization of technologies related to the mechanical performance of dry‑type transformers. You will participate in projects, working closely with internal experts to support successful execution of our technology roadmap.

Responsibilities

- Execute standardization projects to cover factories globally.
- Analyze the current design and processes of all factories and propose new ideas to improve productivity by introducing new technologies.
- Support other R&D; colleagues with materials and documentation management.

Qualifications

- Senior student or recent graduate in Mechanical Engineering.
- Understanding technical documentation and drawing.
- Ability to make technical judgements in a field of expertise.
- Knowledge of 3D modelling (plus).
- Familiarity with document management systems (plus).
- Teamworking attitude, solution‑oriented approach, and strong communication skills.
- Fluent in Spanish and English, both written and spoken.
- Initiative, creativity, and great attention to detail.
- Collaborative and solution‑oriented approach.
