Global Factor is seeking a PV Project Engineer.

Responsibilities

- Technical due diligence reports, including PV resource analysis, grid connection evaluation, technology, energy yield and site assessment.
- Design review, including the technical revision and approval of the main project design engineering documentation.
- Support preparation of Expressions of Interest / Pre‑qualification dossiers, technical and financial offers in reply to RfPs.
- Technical, administrative and logistical tasks for the management of international technical assistance projects.
- Coordinate functions and responsibilities for public international clients such as L’Energètica, Asian Development Bank, European Commission, Global Center for Adaptation, Green Climate Fund, World Bank, African Development Bank, Inter‑American Development Bank, and European Investment Bank.

Must‑Haves

- Ability to travel and stay short‑term on project sites on a project‑by‑project basis.

Education Requirements





- BSc in Engineering.
- MSC in Renewable Energy / Energy / Industrial Engineering is favorably considered.

Professional Experience

- Minimum 3 years’ experience in similar positions.

Languages

- English: Native or full professional proficiency.
- French and/or Spanish are favorably considered.

Other Personal Competencies

- Efficient communication, meeting organization and reporting.
- Proactivity and flexibility.
- Results and client‑need oriented.
- Efficient problem resolution.
- Knowledge and experience in solar PV software (e.g., PVSyst) is favorably considered.
- Expert level in MS Office package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
