We are looking for an engaged and passionate Staff Engineer to join our growing engineering department and serve as a technical leader across teams and domains.

Responsibilities

- Lead transversal, complex projects autonomously from ideation to completion.
- Proactively communicate the technical vision across multiple teams, ensuring alignment and sharing knowledge.
- Act as a go‑to expert, providing mentorship and guidance across teams.
- Deeply understand multiple product domains and proactively identify improvements and advocate for customer needs.
- Lead and define technical strategies for complex, impactful problems.
- Set and uphold higher quality standards and drive adoption of best practices in architecture, security and DevOps.
- Write production‑ready code, find appropriate solutions for medium complexity challenges, participate in software design discussions and contribute to performance and quality within scope, applying a security‑first mindset.

Qualifications

- 10+ years of back‑end development experience using TypeScript and Node.js, or Python, Ruby on Rails, or other languages with focus on security, scalability, availability and performance across multiple domains.




- Strong understanding of system design and ability to solve complex, impactful problems.
- Comfortable leading the development of complex projects affecting multiple teams and domains, driving initiatives from ideation to completion.
- Expert at identifying opportunities for new impactful initiatives.
- Deep understanding of multiple product domains and ability to anticipate long‑term needs.
- Effective and proactive communication skills, collaborating with different roles to ensure cross‑domain alignment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt quickly to new technologies and areas.
- Technical stack familiarity: TypeScript / Node.js, Python, REST API / GraphQL APIs, Ruby / Rails, React, AWS/Serverless or EKS, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, OpenSearch, Redis.
