Role

Lead Value Engineer in the Value Advisory Team, responsible for driving the priority areas of Business Critical, Adoption, AI, and Empowerment.

Responsibilities

- Establish the standardized path to customer success by creating a repeatable blueprint for ROI, stickiness, and adoption.
- Shape the platform by closing the product-to-field feedback loop and driving the adoption of new capabilities at scale.
- Innovate and scale by turning proven success into embedded systems, enabling go-to-market with repeatable motions.
- Provide targeted value advisory for the most strategic deals and deployments.
- Act as a proactive thinker and problem solver, identifying next best actions and suggesting new approaches such as Business Critical Motion, Discover & Build Methodology, or AI Agents.
- Serve as a key interface between GTM functions—including VE leaders, managers, Product & Engineering—to source best practices and identify gaps along the value journey.
- Lead strategic initiatives and cross-functional projects to improve VE metrics.
- Lead high-impact projects to architect next-generation AI Agents, autonomous frameworks, and LLM-driven assets, revolutionizing VE key activities.
- Co-create new product functionality based on a value-driven mindset.
- Make significant contributions to the GTM strategy and motions (land, expand, renew) by continuously improving the end-to-end value journey and partnering with P&E;, Industry Team, and Business Apps.
- Serve as a sparring partner to fellow Celonauts from the VE team and other organizations.
- Leverage an extensive network across Celonis and the ecosystem to achieve the team’s objectives.

- Above-average drive for ownership and action, with a proactive approach to work.
- Technical expertise in the Celonis Platform (e.g., PQL) and related software development & deployment skills such as SQL, R, Python, Java, Excel/Google Sheets, and Action Flow automations.
- In-depth knowledge of the Celonis platform, processes, and key assets to provide valuable insights and guidance.
- Strong value-selling and realization skills: understanding customer needs, aligning solutions, active listening, solution positioning, objection handling, value identification, framing, realization, and tracking.
- Stakeholder & program management capabilities, planning, communicating, and engaging stakeholders to drive adoption of new assets.
- Industry expertise is a plus—experience in Manufacturing, Automotive, Consumer, Retail, Pharmaceuticals, or Chemicals.

Degree

Technology & Management, Industrial/Business Engineering, Business Informatics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or a comparable degree program.
