Overview

The AWS Infrastructure Energy Team (IET) is looking for a Grid Delivery Manager to lead the delivery of large‑scale critical HV/MV grid interconnection projects across EMEA. The role involves working with design engineering, construction, planning, environmental, real‑estate and other cross‑functional teams to meet tight deadlines, while standardizing processes, developing delivery tools, and supporting financial budgeting.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver large‑scale HV/MV grid interconnection projects within EMEA under tight deadlines.
- Lead the grid infrastructure delivery program, including standardizing processes and developing tools for execution.
- Support financial budgeting and reporting.
- Manage stakeholder relationships and provide weekly reports on key project risks and issues to senior management, directors, and vice‑presidents.
- Collaborate with diverse teams, ensuring project delivery to tight timelines.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, project management, construction management, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience delivering HV/MV infrastructure projects from design to energization, including power substations and utilities.




- Experience designing substations or other energy infrastructure.
- Experience working in data centers or critical infrastructure.
- Experience building relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience analyzing cost‑benefit trade‑offs across a strategic portfolio and operating with partial information and ambiguity.
- Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
- Ability to communicate in additional languages.
- Master’s degree (MBA/MS) and/or PMP certification preferred.
