Are you ready to take on a pivotal role in our dynamic and expanding Modification and Upgrades division at Dematic? As a CS MU Control Engineer you will design and execute controls software for MU jobs, like repairs, upgrades, extension of the existing and competitor projects and provide hotline Support to customers.

Tasks and Qualifications
Main Job Objective
- Deliver the assigned project scope and tasks by meeting/exceeding our safety, quality, On-Time-Delivery and budget requirements.
- Provide Support to our customers.
- To produce PLC software and/or visualization systems.
- To emulate and test PLC software.
- To interpret electrical schematics and design input information.
- To commission controls systems on-site including electrical and PLC software commissioning and to provide support to system test activities and training for the end user.
- To produce commissioning documentation including, but not limited to, commissioning checklists, test specifications.
- Provide technical guidance.
- To maintain of all associated documentation including, but not limited to, design calculations, design specifications, Method Statements and Risk Assessments, operation and maintenance manuals, and test specifications.

Qualifications & Experience
- Experience in Electrical/Mechatronics/Controls Engineering as a minimum.
- Experience in a similar role.
- Extensive proven hands‑on experience working within an industrial automation environment.
- Understanding of PLC development tools (Siemens, Rockwell…)
- Good understanding of Electrical and Electronic technical manuals & drawings.
- Understanding of design requirements such as Machine Directive and its standards including safety standards.
- Good understanding of distributed control systems.
- Extensive understanding of software testing and emulation.
- Understanding of automated warehouse desirable not essential.
Special Conditions

- English speaker.
- Willing to learn about all Dematic subsystems.
- Willing to do small R&D; topic.
- Full driver’s license to support the travel requirements of the role.
