As we continue to expand, we are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Accounting Manager to join our team and help drive our financial operations forward.
Responsibilities
Oversee and manage all bookkeeping and financial operations for the company, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations
Supervise and mentor an accounting assistant, providing guidance, task delegation, and performance oversight
Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, reports, and forecasts on a regular basis
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing
Oversee month‑end and year‑end close processes, including reconciliations and journal entries
Ensure compliance with local Spanish tax regulations as well as international financial reporting requirements
Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies as needed
Develop and implement internal financial controls and procedures to safeguard company assets
Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and financial planning activities to support business decision‑making
Manage payroll processing and related compliance requirements
Support international financial operations, including multi‑currency transactions and cross‑border reporting
Collaborate with senior leadership to provide financial insights and strategic recommendations
Maintain and organize financial records in accordance with company policy and legal requirements
Attend in‑office meetings and collaborative sessions at the Valencia headquarters on an as‑needed basis
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA, CMA, or equivalent professional certification preferred
Minimum of 5–7 years of progressive accounting or finance experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role
Strong knowledge of Spanish accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements
Experience with international financial operations and multi‑currency accounting
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, Xero, or similar platforms) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
Demonstrated experience managing or supervising accounting staff
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in financial reporting
Ability to work independently in a remote capacity while maintaining clear and consistent communication with the team
Willingness and ability to travel to the Valencia, Spain office on an as‑needed basis
Fluency in Spanish is required; proficiency in English is strongly preferred
Experience in the technology or data solutions industry is a plus
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external stakeholders
