In this interactive role, you will deliver professional food and beverage service across various outlets. Specifically, you will welcome guests, take orders, advise on menu items, process payments, and set up tables following strict resort standards. By doing so, you will ensure an extraordinary dining experience across every shift.
Job Description: Waiter / Waitress (El Fuerte Marbella 5)*
Your Mission: Attentive Service & Exceptional Dining
Your primary goal involves driving Food & Beverage success across our 5-star dining venues. To achieve this, you will deliver personalized guest service. At the same time, you will keep dining areas pristine and well-stocked. Therefore, you will take orders, suggest menu items, manage point-of-sale billing, and prepare tables according to protocol. As a result, you will eliminate service bottlenecks and protect our resort’s reputation for luxury hospitality.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Guest Service & Order Taking: Welcome, escort, advise, and serve guests across hotel outlets. Furthermore, take orders accurately and suggest complementary food and beverage items.
Table Setup & Area Prep: Prepare and set tables following Fuerte Group protocols. In addition, inspect table elements to ensure full compliance with luxury presentation standards.
Buffet & Event Operations: Assist with setting up, maintaining, and dismantling buffet stations. Moreover, collaborate on special event setups alongside team supervisors.
Billing & Pos Cashiering:



Process billing charges, handle payments accurately, and manage POS electronic devices before and after service.
Stock & Order Verification: Check incoming delivery orders against delivery notes (albaranes). Consequently, store materials correctly, maintain stock controls, and restock station supplies.
Who You Are: The Professional F&B; Specialist
Proven Foundations: You bring at least 2 years of experience as a Waiter/Waitress inside 5-star luxury hotels. Ideally, you gained this background in properties affiliated with Leading Hotels of the World or Preferred Hotels & Resorts.
Educational Background: You hold a Vocational Degree (Grado Medio or Superior) in Restaurant Services, Food & Beverage Management, or a related field.
The Linguist: You display B1-level proficiency in English alongside fluent Spanish. Knowledge of additional international languages is considered a valuable plus.
Technical Skills: You feel comfortable working with Property Management Systems (PMS), POS tools, and Microsoft Office software.
Key Competencies: You demonstrate high interpersonal warmth, detail orientation, active listening, teamwork, and strong upselling skills.
